Park & Pray

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

We believe every human being is worthy of love, compassion, and understanding. We thrive when we support each other through prayer and our physical presence. We all need help sometimes.

Our mission is to bring people together, in nature, to explore the word of God, to grow as Christians, and to fully express our gratitude to God for the love, compassion and grace bestowed upon us.

YOU ARE INVITED AND WELCOME

Our goal is to create time and space to come together as God’s true church, to listen to the messages of Christ, and for the holy spirit to embrace us so that we all leave filled with joy and peace.

Please join us at various parks and places of beauty on the last Saturday of the Month at 8:30 am for about an hour. We will gather as one, read the bible, reflect on its message, and share together to leave happier and more Christ-like in our interactions with others.

What sets us apart

We are a true church of Christ.  We are not a place or and organization. We are not ordained, trained or certificated.

Our purpose is to come togther as believers, to read the word of God and to reflect on our actions in the world.   Our desire is to be better examples of faith, to encourage Christ-like behavor, and to support one another when we stray.

Read the Bible Together

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.  Hebrews 4:12

God’s Word is a dynamic and powerful force. It’s not a simple collection of texts but a living entity that can discern the intricacies of our heart and soul. It’s an indication of how powerful studying and understanding the Bible can be.

Reflect and Pray

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  James 5:16

Faith can be a powerful source of comfort, strength, and hope during difficult times. Throughout the Bible, we are reminded of how God listens to our prayers and eagerly awaits us when we cry out for help.

In these moments, it’s also important that we remember to pray for one another, especially others in need who might not have the strength or ability to lift their own prayers up.

Live Our Faith

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”  Matthew 5:16

Jesus reminds us of the importance of being a light in the world. By living a life characterized by good works, kindness, and love, we become a reflection of God’s glory. Our example should draw others closer to God, inspiring them to glorify Him through their own lives.
